My Favourite Italian Words - Traslochi

It was back to Italian lessons for me today. There are days I wonder if I'll ever be able to string a sentence together. There always seem to be more exceptions to the rule than grammar or words that actually follow the rules. I mean, who decides that cities are generally feminine and towns generally masculine? And then there is the fun side of a language. I caught this warning 'sign' on the side of the building, obviously a warning against pickpocketing...

I figured the word traslochi must mean pickpockets, but the translation turns out to be removals. Beware the removals people.

The actual word for pickpockets is borseggiatori.
